The client is a Product Information Management (PIM) company aiming to enter the competitive landscape dominated by major, established players in the PIM industry. Their primary goal is to differentiate their offering by creating a user-friendly interface that allows businesses to easily manage and distribute product data without technical expertise.
I mainly worked on the design of the software. Going through several rounds of corrections and collaboration with Developers.

These companies often offer robust solutions, but their platforms are complex and can be difficult for users to navigate, especially for businesses without a dedicated technical team. The clientās current website and platform interface lacks a user-centered design, making it challenging for potential customers to quickly adapt to the system.
The goal of the project is to design a user-friendly PIM platform that simplifies the process of managing product information for businesses, regardless of their technical expertise. The platform should facilitate faster user adoption by providing an intuitive interface and clear onboarding process. Additionally, the client aims to differentiate itself in a crowded market by offering a more approachable and easy-to-navigate PIM solution, which will support long-term growth and scalability for businesses of all sizes.
The strategy focuses on creating a user-centered design that ensures the platform is simple, intuitive, and accessible to users with varying technical skills. This includes streamlining workflows, implementing an easy-to-follow onboarding process, and offering helpful guidance through interactive features. The design will also prioritize scalability, allowing businesses to grow without complicating the user experience. To further differentiate the client from competitors, the platformās visual identity and user interface will be updated to present a modern and welcoming brand image.
The iterations shown in the mockups demonstrate the ongoing refinement of the PIM platform to enhance its user-friendliness and accessibility. Each update simplifies navigation, improves visual clarity, and streamlines workflows, ensuring that the platform is intuitive for users of all technical backgrounds. The focus on accessibility and an easy-to-use interface differentiates this solution from other more complex PIM options in the market, offering a seamless experience that encourages faster adoption and efficient product management for businesses of all sizes.
The font design follows AAA accessibility standards, ensuring high contrast between text and background to reduce eye strain and improve readability for all users.
Icons are paired with clear titles or labels to avoid assumptions about their meanings. This ensures that all users, regardless of their familiarity with specific icons, can easily understand their purpose.
Information has been carefully organized with a clear hierarchy to prevent confusion. By strategically placing and differentiating content, users can easily navigate and absorb the information without feeling overwhelmed.
This project will improve user adoption, provide a competitive edge, and enhance customer satisfaction by offering an accessible, user-friendly platform. Its intuitive design will attract a broader audience, including non-technical users, while standing out from more complex solutions in the market, ultimately boosting customer loyalty and inclusivity.
This journey has shown me the importance of redesign, iteration, and user-centered design. You can have a great idea and a great website, but if the customer cannot navigate it, then weāve failed as UX designers. The key to seamless interaction is when the customer doesn't even have to think about how to use it.
